A company founded on 03-06-2016.

Official name: ROBAN Realestate Actividades Ldª  NIPC: 513 977 627

ROBAN has as Director Robert M.L. Snapper – 1948 (Dutch)  and in Portugal also since 1977.

He had a long career in real-estate being a licensed estate agenf for some 30 years. He wounded up his real-estate company Ricola Algarvia Ldª as per 01/01/2010.


Previously (prior to 01-01-2019) Enid Hut and Caroline Noterman were part of the company, but they took over the Property Administration and Management department to continue in individuals names in a new location as PA

However ROBAN ReAct will still be active in the following fields

You will also find many articles and information on other topics as well; all real estate related which could be also of interest to you. As we are in the process of re organizing our websites many articles are not visible yet but under construction. 

At this stage most of the articles are in Dutch or English as the majority of our clients come from those countries. However it is our intention to add in the future also articles and info in other languages like Portuguese, German, French and Spanish.  

The aim of this website is for people who are considering purchasing a place in the sun either for permanent living or as a second home to get a better inside view what is involved in having a place here. 

We can help and assist you in this venture from the very beginning till after the sale of your property. In case you are interested you can take advantage of our 40 year Portugal experience.

This is a country where you probably don't know the ins and outs as you do at home, neither do you speak the language nor are you familiar with procedures and habits in this country. Sound advice and good information is to our opinion of vital importance to enjoy your stay here.

Without doubt we can say that the property and in particular the second home market during the last decades has seen many highs as well as quite a few lows. A very healthy growth after the bleak years between 1990-1996 and now we are in the middle of a dip due to world recession. However The ALGARVE always has and still is a favourite holiday destination for many people, especially the Brits as it is easy reachable and has a sound political and weather climate. It is notable that for example 60% of the properties in the Lagos district now are second home properties and betweeen 50-60% of those are owned by British people.

If you already own a property it is a must to maintain it well in order to keep it´s value as an asset. If you do not own a property yet it now seems to be the time to puchase one as it is a buyers market as never before!!!
